The action of botox

What is the treatment?

The preparation containing botulinum toxin (Botox, Bocouture, Dysport, Azzalure, botulax, meditoxin) is injected into several places on the face using a disposable syringe equipped with a very fine needle. The preparation starts working after 2-3 days after injection, and the full effect of the treatment may be visible for up to 10-14 days.

The package includes a glass ampoule in which the powder is placed under pressure. Sometimes the ampoule may seem empty. For use, dilute the powder in the ampoule with saline. For 100 units, add 2.5 ml of saline, for 200 units - 5 ml of saline.
